Visual interlude....

ZEN'ers, greetings! While waiting for Bush the Lesser to 'decide' about things beyond his known capabilities, I thought some of you may want to just ZEN out a minute or two, so this post is devoted to some recent events for which your Humble Narrator was invited.

At a friend's party, I was taken aback by the beauty of the woman, and the hand, and the jewelry she wore, which attached ring to bracelet by a strand of small diamonds: absolutely beautiful.

That was taken after I went up to Morzine to attempt to ski for the first time in our sad, under-snowed winter of 2006-7. Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest interconnected skiing stations in Europe.

The first photo shown is taken from the east bank of Lac Montriond, on the day before the big storm hit. I was out
tooling around with a couple close friends, and when we found the stillwater on this lake it provided the material to play PhotoShop boy...

This next shot is from the chalet ZEN shared
with friends, very good friends and a happy crowd... the coloring provides a fun relief to the 'monotony' of a cold snowy morning, n'est-il pas vrai?

ZENmud :-)
