They came to power in the Seventies...

What better way, li'l ZEN'ers, to make a transition from the death of Gerald Ford, to the hanging of Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti, then with another nearly-world-famous ZENmud rendition-flight-of-fancy?

So, the implications are clear, and I thought about writing about the lost opportunities to bring greater justice to the world, but if in fact the US vis-à-vis Hussein was playing catch-up to France (Saddam and the "Jaques ChIRAQ" photo above, merci milles fois!) and others... then it makes sense beyond all, that everyone BUT Saddam wanted his voice silenced... From Dictator, to hole-potator, to maybe lost-witness-guy?

Make a Foucault pendulum out of him? There's a plan...

Documents "lost" and vital witness hung: George the First, and Bush the Lesser, have an easier escape now (et toi, M. le President Chiraq? :-)
